Jennifer Smout

Jennifer Smout is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in gender analysis and content creation. Currently serving as a Gender Specialist at Genesis Analytics and a Gender Analysis Consultant for AHT GROUP GmbH, Jennifer also engages in freelance writing and editing roles, including positions with Douglas Knowledge Partners and the Human Sciences Research Council. With prior roles as a Research Consultant for the World Bank, Jennifer has conducted comprehensive gender assessments across Southern Africa. Educationally, Jennifer holds multiple degrees from the University of Cape Town and Rhodes University, including a Master's in Creative Writing and a Master's in Politics, as well as several certificates in digital marketing and copyediting. Jennifer's diverse expertise spans across gender issues, content development, and research, contributing significantly to various organizations and initiatives in the field.
