James McDonald is the Vice Chair at Genesis HealthCare System. James has over 20 years of experience in global procurement, including positions at Tapestry, Coach, and Voya Financial (formerly ING U.S.).
During their time at Tapestry, James was the Senior Director of Global Procurement Operations, responsible for P2P, corporate travel, and cards. James was also the head of the Global Travel program, leading the transition to a new TMC. In addition, James led the relaunch of the Card programs with a new provider and improved program management.
At Coach, James was the Director of Global Procurement Operations and co-lead of the Global Procurement Transformation initiative. This initiative resulted in the expansion of the org, technology, and policy enhancements. James was also the Global P2P process and technology owner, leading the Ariba team in support and continuous improvement of source-to-pay tools and processes.
Prior to joining Coach, James was the Director of Procurement Operations at Voya Financial (formerly ING U.S.) for over six years. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of procurement operations for the company.
James McDonald has a BS in Management Information Systems from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. James also has an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business. James is certified by ISM as a CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) and by SAP as a Certified SAP MM Consultant.
