Michael Johns

Michael Johns is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience across various roles in venture capital, operations management, and investment banking. Currently serving as a Partner at Genesis, a venture capital fund providing support to student entrepreneurs at UT Austin since April 2016, Michael has previously held the position of Operations Manager at Flo Recruit, focusing on recruitment software for law firms and schools from March 2021 to November 2024. Earlier career highlights include roles at Argonaut Private Equity as an Associate, Deutsche Bank as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst, and Goldman Sachs as a Summer Analyst in Residential Mortgage Asset Management.
