J. Jeneva L. Patterson has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. J. Jeneva L. began their career in 1991 as a Junior Associate at Citigate Dewe Rogerson. J. Jeneva L. then moved on to White & Case in 1992 as a Paralegal. In 1993, they joined the Peace Corps as a Training and Development Officer, Leadership and Organization Development. In 1996, they were promoted to English Language and Literature - Cambridge Exams A Levels. In 1999, they began working at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government as a Graduate Studies Teaching Assistant, where they led the Teaching Team in Adaptive Leadership and was a member of the Power and Authority course design, development and delivery team. In 2001, they joined Aperian Global as Practice Group Leader Organization and Leadership Development. In 2007, they became the Managing Director at Pula Group Consulting. In 2014, they joined the Center for Creative Leadership as a Client Engagement Director, Senior Faculty. Finally, in 2020, they were appointed Non Executive Director at GenFlow Biosciences.

Patterson holds an MA from Harvard University in Human Development & Psychology, an MA from American University in Organization Development with NTL National Training Laboratories Bethel ME, a Partial coursework Ph.D. from Fielding Graduate University in Organizational Leadership and Human Development, a Certificate from The Wharton School in Board Strategy and Governance, a Certificate from Harvard Medical School's Coaching Institute of Coaching / McClean Hospital-Harvard Medical, and a BA from Mount Holyoke College. J.
