Vera Vitels

Vera Vitels is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in talent management and development across multiple high-profile organizations. Currently serving as Chief People Officer at Genius Sports since November 2024, Vera previously held the position of Head of Talent and Development for Amazon Advertising, IMDb, and GC at Amazon from July 2022 to October 2024. Earlier roles include SVP, People at Condé Nast, where responsibilities encompassed global HR for the content organization, and SVP, Global Talent and Development at Thomson Reuters, overseeing talent management and diversity initiatives. Additional experience includes leadership positions at Time Warner and consulting roles during the IBM and PwC merger integration. Vera holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a BA in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley.
