Marie Nugent, PhD, is a seasoned professional in healthcare science and community engagement, currently serving as a Trainee Healthcare Scientist in Genomic Counselling at NHS England since September 2024, while concurrently overseeing community initiatives at Genomics England as Community Manager. Marie's expertise encompasses the development of engagement strategies focused on genome diversity and equity in genomics medicine.
