Paul Quinn is a Bioinformatics Engineer at Genomics England since August 2022 and a Visiting Academic at The University of Manchester since April 2021, currently working on a publication related to an MSc Bioinformatics dissertation project. Previously, Paul held the position of Bioinformatician at QIAGEN from January 2021 to August 2022, focusing on standardizing in-silico assay design and analysis within the NGS team. Additionally, Paul has engaged in educational outreach, teaching Python in bioinformatics at GIORDANO BRUNO high school in January 2023 and January 2024. Paul holds a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from The University of Manchester and a Master of Research in Drug Safety from the University of Liverpool, where also obtained a BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology. Research conducted at the University of Liverpool involved investigating cytokine inhibition and differentiation in a translational medicine context.
