David Norwood

David long career has been spent building a number of science, technology and investment companies. David is the founder of IP Group plc, one of the UK’s leading technology commercialisation businesses. He also founded Oxford Sciences Innovation, the largest university venture fund worldwide.

Following his graduation from Keble College, Oxford, where he read Modern History, and joined city investment bank Bankers’ Trust. Since then David has been a founder and/or director of many UK technology companies including Oxford Nanopore, Proximagen, Synairgen, 4D Pharma, IndexIT, Evolution Group and Ora Capital.
