Ishita Barman

Ishita Barman is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in protein engineering and therapeutic discovery. Currently serving as a Senior Field Application Scientist at GenScript since December 2021, Ishita manages project implementations within the Protein and Antibody portfolio, engages with key opinion leaders in biotech and academic settings, and presents GenScript's offerings at various scientific forums. Prior roles include Senior Scientist at 3T Biosciences, where management of a cross-functional team focused on core platform technologies took place, as well as research positions at Bristol Myers Squibb, Pfizer, Neugenesis Corporation, and Nuvelo, specializing in antibody engineering, molecular biology, and vaccine development. Ishita holds advanced degrees in Molecular Biology and Microbiology from San Jose State University and MSU, Baroda, India, complemented by a certificate from Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in phage display techniques.
