During his 26 years at Gensler, Jim has cultivated a reputation as a go-to resource for the design of technically complex environments and developed a specialty in trading floors and data centers. Based in the firm's New York office, his work has been implemented on four continents, including the first LEED-certified data center in North America. Jim’s notable clients include Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, Equinix, New York Presbyterian, and Pfizer. A founding member and leader of the firm's Critical Facilities practice, as well as a Design Director in the New York office, Jim has received numerous awards and recognition from the AIA, the British Institute of Facilities Managers, New York Construction News, Engineering News-Record, and the Municipal Art Society. A registered architect with 35 years of experience, Jim holds a Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Environmental Design from Miami University of Ohio.
