William Yon

William is a result-oriented Director who brings over 10 years of experience in urban strategy, architectural design, and equity investment. Prior to joining Gensler in 2019, William served as manager of a leading Parisian urban planning and architecture firm and as an investment director on one of the EU’s largest green infrastructure funds. William has built his reputation as a thought leader on trends and innovations relating to buildings and cities. He is an experienced team leader in diverse, multicultural environments and offers a sharp client focus.

A native French and bilingual English speaker, William is a graduate engineer (MSc.) of the Ecole Polytechnique Paris and the Ecole des Ponts Paristech, where he followed a double degree architecture program and received a Certificate of International Management. William is an active member of the French real estate community and was featured in the top 20 of the 2020 Choiseul Institute’s Ville de Demain (City of Tomorrow) ranking of real estate leaders under 40.
