Elena Wood

Elena Wood is a Junior Art Director at Glambou since March 2024, with previous roles including Senior UX Researcher and UX Researcher & Designer at Sabre Corporation from November 2021 to March 2024, where contributions included automating internal processes and collaborating on a project with Google. Elena has also served as a User Experience Researcher at Aumio, leading research for the company's expansion into the French market from September 2022 to March 2024, and had freelance experience as a Graphic Illustrator with WASH United in April 2022, focusing on providing menstrual care products. Earlier roles at Aumio and Memorisely saw Elena overseeing user research and design initiatives, ensuring accessibility in app content, and leading UX projects that culminated in high-fidelity prototypes. Elena's career began in customer support roles at Hopper, along with a research assistantship at McGill University. Elena holds a Bachelor's degree in History with a minor in Communications from McGill University and has completed intensive courses in Animation and Motion Design, as well as a UX/UI Bootcamp.
