Venkat Thumula

Venkat Thumula is an accomplished entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in healthcare technology and management. As the Founder and Executive Chairman of Genzeon since October 2012, and also serving as CEO, Venkat has led innovative initiatives in the industry. In addition, Venkat is the Managing Partner at Equilateral Ventures since 2014. Prior experience includes a role as Development Manager for Sunrise Ambulatory at Allscripts from August 2003 to October 2012 and a Software Developer position at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center from October 2002 to August 2003. Venkat holds a Master of Business Administration specializing in Leadership in Healthcare from Yale School of Management (2013-2015), completed Business Essentials at The Wharton School (2008-2010), and earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of South Alabama (2001-2002).
