Steve Howard

Steve Howard is a prominent figure in sustainability, currently serving as Vice Chairman and Chief Sustainability Officer at Temasek since January 2021. In addition, Steve holds leadership roles including Climate Advisory Board Chair at LeapFrog Investments, Board Member and Investment Committee Chair at GenZero, and Board Member at Decarbonization Partners. As the Founding Chair and Board Member of the We Mean Business Coalition, Steve has been influential in promoting sustainable business practices since 2014. Previous positions include Strategic Advisor at Longview Innovation and Advisory Board Member at Sustainable Energy for All. Steve’s background includes a PhD in Environmental Physics from the University of Nottingham and a BS in Ecology from London Metropolitan University.
