Teemu Karlsson serves as a Senior Scientist at the Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) since January 2011, focusing on project management and environmental issues related to mining and the circular economy. Concurrently, Teemu has been the Chief Editor for the Finnish Museum of Natural History since February 2011. Previous experience includes roles as a Laboratory Technician at Sibelco Nordic and the City of Turku, Field Assistant for Store Norske Gull, and a Practicant Environmental Geologist at the University of Concepción. Teemu holds a PhD and Licentiate in Applied Geochemistry from Luleå University of Technology and a Master's degree in Geology from the University of Turku.
