Charles F. Leonhardt

Charles F. Leonhardt serves as the Senior Director for Online Initiatives and Innovation at Georgetown University since June 1979, collaborating with university leadership to develop world-class online education programs and deploying innovative technologies to enhance global education initiatives. Additional roles include Adjunct Professor in the Masters in Technology Management Program, Principal Technologist advising on key technology issues, and Director of various units focused on data architecture, information access, and human resources information systems. Leonhardt has held leadership positions in organizations like Apereo Foundation and PESC, contributing as Treasurer and in various board roles, while also participating in several working groups focused on enterprise authentication and identity management. Charles holds a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from American University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Philosophy from Georgetown University.
