Abbey Carr

Abbey Carr is an experienced professional with a strong background in philanthropy and community engagement. Currently serving as the Director of Philanthropy at the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians since January 2025, Abbey previously held the role of Director of Coat Drives & Corporate Engagement at One Warm Coat from June 2023 to December 2024, and also served as the National Coat Drive Program Manager. Prior experience includes positions at the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians as the Statewide Director of Community Education, and at MUST Ministries as the Community Outreach Director. Abbey's career began at Improving as an Account Manager focused on government and non-profit sectors and included a significant tenure at The reThink Group, Inc. as the Account Relationship Team Director for non-profits. Abbey holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Auburn University.
