Dillon Vann

Undergraduate Researcher at Georgia Institute of Technology

Dillon Vann is an accomplished electrical and electronics engineering student at the University of Florida, expected to graduate in December 2025. As a founding officer of the Power Club and a member of the Engineers Without Borders USA Peru team, Dillon has actively contributed to projects focused on sustainable engineering solutions, including research on polymer-based liners for water reservoirs in Peru. In addition, Dillon founded BatFlips4Kids, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing sports equipment to underserved youth, successfully distributing over 400 bats internationally since 2017. Dillon gained practical experience as a distribution engineering intern at ENERCON Inc., where key contributions led to significant cost reductions in underground power distribution designs. Previous involvement with the Freshman Leadership Council at UF demonstrates a commitment to leadership and community engagement. Furthermore, Dillon is pursuing a certificate in Sustainable & Resilient Energy Engineering, complementing a strong academic foundation that includes prior completion of the International Baccalaureate Program in Physical Science.
