Kara Jenelle Wade

Kara Jenelle Wade, MFA, is a multifaceted arts professional with extensive experience in choreography, project management, and arts education. Currently serving as Interim Assistant Director at Georgia Institute of Technology since December 2021, Kara has successfully developed arts and technology programming, engaging nearly 1,000 participants through workshops. As Creative Director and Project Manager at Kaliba Jah Creative Collective since July 2020, significant contributions include producing over 35 projects for various brand partnerships. Notably, Kara has choreographed for prestigious clients at Bloc Talent Agency Inc. since June 2016, with credits including major film and television productions. Previous roles encompass academic positions at UCLA, arts integration through P.S. ARTS, and participation in national and international tours with Step Afrika!. Kara holds a Master of Fine Arts from UCLA and a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
