Roger Johanson

Roger Johanson is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in project finance, structured finance, and capital raising across the renewable energy sector and beyond. Currently serving as Vice President of Project Finance at Geronimo Energy since April 2019, Roger has a strong background that includes leadership roles at GCL New Energy, Inc. as Senior Director of Structured Finance, and as CFO of Cimarron Solar where responsibilities included raising capital for significant solar projects. Roger has also held positions in various other financial organizations, including Renewable Energy Trust Capital, Inc., GCL Solar Energy, Inc., Bank of America, and CIT Group, where strategic market development and financing have been key focus areas. Education includes an MBA in Finance and Statistics from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA in Business Economics from UCLA.
