Vinay Solanki

Vinay Solanki is an experienced professional in the media and entertainment sectors, currently serving as the Founder and Head of Channel 4 Ventures since July 2015, where the UK's largest media for equity operation was established. In addition to this role, Vinay acts as a Board Observer for GetAgent.co.uk, Hussle Official, and Crowdcube. Previously, Vinay held the position of Director of Strategic Development at Getty Images from March 2012 to June 2015, overseeing strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial business development in the EMEA region. Vinay also worked as Strategy and Corporate Development Director for Liberty Global, Inc. and Corporate Finance Manager at Ingenious Media, focusing on significant transactions in the media sector. Early career experience includes roles at Ernst & Young in Mergers and Acquisitions. Vinay holds an MBA specializing in strategy and finance from Imperial College London and an LLB Hons in Law from UCL.
