Joost de Bruijn

Joost de Bruijn is a beleidsadviseur publieke gezondheid at GGD Fryslân since January 2022, providing advisory support to various municipalities in Fryslân on local health policies, including topics such as healthy living environments, reducing health disparities, and prevention. Previous experience includes serving as a board member and chairman at GROBOS, advocating for student housing and sustainable policies, and participating in the Faculty Council at the University of Groningen, focusing on improving student-teacher ratios. Joost has also gained practical teaching experience as a biology intern at CSG Liudger and worked as a librarian assistant. Joost holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences and a Master of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Groningen, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Biology.
