Marit Boonstra

Marit Boonstra is an experienced epidemiologist currently employed at GGD Fryslân since April 2012, focusing on Covid-19 and contributing to the expert team IZB, analyzing data to provide insights into virus spread. Previously, Marit worked as an informant at belastingtelefoon, assisting individuals with inquiries about income tax. Marit holds a Master's degree in Sociology with a concentration on crime and safety from the University of Groningen, where a graduation internship was completed at Veiligheidshuis Fryslân/Openbaar Ministerie Leeuwarden. Prior experience includes a communication internship at Rijkswaterstaat, focusing on infrastructure and water projects, and a communication internship at Gemeente Sneek. Marit's educational background also includes a bachelor's degree in communication from NHL Hogeschool.
