Miriam van Tunen

Miriam van Tunen is an experienced professional in the field of social work and public health. Currently serving as a Beleidsmedewerker publieke gezondheid at GGD Fryslân since April 2024 and as a Medisch maatschappelijk werker at Medisch Centrum Leeuwarden since May 2022, Miriam also holds the position of co-owner at DiversityBooks, which promotes literature recognizing minority groups through a certification called DiversityProof. Additionally, Miriam is the founder of Mvtunen since January 2014 and has a longstanding commitment to volunteering since the age of 15 across various organizations. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor in Social Work (SPH) from Christelijke Hogeschool Ede, completed between 2003 and 2007, supplemented by a HAVO diploma obtained from 1998 to 2003.
