Sajjad Hedayati

Sajjad Hedayati is a highly experienced professional with a strong background in industrial and manufacturing engineering. Currently serving as a Project Researcher at Ghent University since January 2022, Sajjad focuses on stochastic optimization problems in manufacturing and remanufacturing systems with an emphasis on Circular Economy, particularly in strategic allocation of inspection stations for improved product quality and operational efficiency. Previous roles include Acting as a Teaching Assistant in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture and serving as a Visiting Researcher at Eindhoven University of Technology, where research involved routing problems in city logistics and warehousing. Sajjad's analytical expertise is further demonstrated through work as a Business Analyst at APSAN Co and Baroline, as well as experience in process optimization roles at Hacoupian, SmartComm., and SarvRayaneh. Sajjad holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tehran and a Bachelor's degree from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences.
