Tensie Whelan has had a long and successful career in business and consulting. Tensie is currently an advisory board member at Giant Ventures, and was previously with Microsoft as a product leader and swing CEO. Prior to that, they were with Firstminute Capital as an advisor.
Whelan began their career at McKinsey & Company, where they quickly rose through the ranks to become one of the firm's top-ranked consultants. Tensie then moved to The Monitor Group, where they worked with high-level clients in various industries on shaping their strategy.
In 2010, Whelan took a break from consulting to work on the David Miliband campaign as an advisor. After the campaign, they returned to consulting and also began writing bestselling books, giving media commentary, and speaking at conferences. Tensie has since become a well-known authority on business strategy and leadership.
Tensie Whelan completed a BA First Class Honours in English Language and Literature at the University of Oxford. Tensie then completed an MSc (Distinction) at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
