Juan Carlos Diaz-Padron

Juan Carlos Diaz-Padron, CPCU, RPLU, serves as the Chief Underwriting Officer and Vice President at GIC Underwriters, Inc. since June 2009, where leadership includes overseeing underwriting operations for a range of commercial and personal insurance products. With experience as Director of Underwriting, Diaz-Padron focuses on agency recruitment and relations, fostering partnerships with independent agents across multiple states. In addition to roles at GIC Underwriters, Diaz-Padron contributes to the Latin American Association of Insurance Agencies as National President and holds various board positions in the City of Coral Gables, providing advisory service on insurance coverage needs. Educationally, Diaz-Padron holds a Master of Science in Management with a focus on Risk Management from Florida State University and a BA in Political Science from Florida International University, complemented by leadership training from Dale Carnegie.
