Samira Zuberi Himika

Samira Zuberi Himika is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and advisory roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at the Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) since January 2022, Samira also acts as an Advisor for British Asian Trust's Bangladesh operations since January 2018 and holds the position of Managing Director at GIGA TECH Limited. Additionally, Samira has been a Director and Managing Director at team engine since March 2010, and Chairwoman at Inspira Advisory & Consulting Limited since January 2015. Previous roles include Board Member at Friendship NGO and Director at BASIS from June 2014 to July 2016, along with Deputy Head of Communications at BBC World Service Trust from February 2007 to April 2011. Samira obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Media Communications from Independent University, Bangladesh, in June 2005.
