Gus Domel

Gus Domel, PhD, is currently a Principal at Boost VC, focusing on investment and innovation in Deep Tech sectors such as biotech, robotics, and generative AI. In addition, Gus serves as a Board Observer at GigaMune and mentors startups through Techstars and the Creative Destruction Lab, specializing in areas like space tech and Web3. Previously, Gus held the role of Director of Product and Chief Scientist at Force Impact Technologies, overseeing product development and algorithm creation. As a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Stanford University, Gus's project gained recognition in the New York Times, while during a PhD at Harvard University, various projects were highlighted by major media outlets. Earlier experience includes positions at Engineering Systems Inc. and the Computational Solid Mechanics Lab, as well as co-founding the Engineers Without Borders chapter at Northwestern University, where Gus completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
