Ime Essien

Ime Essien is a professional with a strong background in biomedical engineering and electrical engineering. Ime holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical Engineering from Morgan State University. Experience includes internships at Gilead Sciences and Redpoint Ventures, a role as Graduate Research Assistant at Johns Hopkins Biomedical Engineering, leadership as Baltimore Chapter DEI Lead for Nucleate, and participation as a Class 2 Fellow at HBCUvc.
