Monica Lent

Monica Lent currently serves as the Sr. Director of Biologics Validation at Gilead Sciences since October 2023. Prior to this role, Monica Lent spent 28 years at Genentech/Roche, where responsibilities included leading a global team as Senior Director/Director, focusing on the creation and implementation of the Pharmaceutical Quality System (PQS) and related processes for biologics and small molecule products. Additional roles at Genentech/Roche included Associate Director of Global Validation & Knowledge Management, where leadership and strategic vision were provided for validation strategies, and Senior Manager of Pharma Technical Development, overseeing compliance aspects of the Process Validation program. Earlier career experience encompassed various analytical lab and process development roles. Monica Lent holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
