Nisreen Hejab

Nisreen Hejab, Ph.D., serves as Associate Director at Gilead Sciences since May 2022, while also holding the position of Associate Principal at Trinity Life Sciences since December 2020, previously functioning as Engagement Manager. Prior experience includes roles as Consultant and Senior Associate at BluePrint Research Group from July 2017 to August 2020, and Postdoctoral Fellow at Berkeley Lab from July 2016 to July 2017, focusing on Alzheimer disease and atomic interactions of tau protein with microtubules. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Comparative Biochemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, earned in 2016, and a B.A. in Biochemistry and Mathematics from Middlebury College, completed in 2010. Throughout academic pursuits, significant achievements included independent research, technical experiments, data analysis, and successful international collaborations.
