Caroline Kostecki

Caroline Kostecki is a highly experienced R&D Director at Ginkgo Bioworks, Inc., leading efforts in carbon sequestration collaboration with Bayer since October 2022. Previously, Caroline held multiple leadership roles at Zymergen, focusing on nutrient use efficiency in agriculture, and also served as a Scientist III at DuPont Pioneer, managing microbiome discovery projects. Experience includes roles at Taxon Biosciences, the Smithsonian Institution, and various research positions in marine and environmental biology, culminating in a PhD from Agrocampus Ouest. Educational credentials also include a postdoctoral position at San Francisco State University and advanced degrees in Marine Biology from the University of La Rochelle.
