Surbhi Verma

Surbhi Verma is currently serving as the Vice President at Girl Up, United Nations Foundation since March 2024. Surbhi has gained substantial experience through various internships, including a Summer Research Intern position at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati, where a Hierarchical Attention-Based BiLSTM algorithm model was developed, achieving 92% accuracy on a large dataset. Additional experience includes creating a user authentication system during an internship at the Defense Research and Development Laboratory. Surbhi has been involved in mentorship roles with Desh Ke Mentor and Technovation and has held positions as a Campus Ambassador at Hack2skill and TRYST. Education is currently being pursued at Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women, working towards a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science Engineering.
