Ian Pedowitz

Ian Pedowitz is an experienced professional in the tech industry, currently serving as the Director of Strategy and Operations for Engineering at GitLab since May 2022. Ian also held the role of Director of Strategy and Operations within the Office of the CEO at GitLab. In addition, Ian is a member of the Operators Guild, a network for leaders in high-growth and tech sectors. Previously, Ian worked as a Principal Technical Program Manager at Peloton Interactive and held various positions at Google, including Senior Technical Program Manager for Android Automotive and Android, where significant contributions were made to Android platform releases. Ian's earlier career includes roles at Uber, FactSet Research Systems, Capital IQ, IBM, and Apple Inc., with a strong focus on program management and network engineering. Ian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer & Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
