Smitha Sunder

Smitha Sunder is an accomplished Senior Flavourist at Givaudan since September 2019, with a strong background in flavour creation across various categories. Prior experience includes roles at AGRANA Group, where Smitha focused on flavour development for beverages and dairy in the CEE and MENA regions, and at Avt McCormick in India, leading R&D for new product development. As part of Symrise, Smitha specialized in the savoury category for key customers in India, Nepal, and Bangladesh. Earlier positions encompass senior R&D roles at AB Mauri and Givaudan Flavors, where responsibilities included flavour creation for bakery, savoury, and beverage products. Smitha began the career as an R&D Technologist at General Mills India, contributing to new product development in the bakery sector. Smitha holds a Master's degree in Food Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, and Chemistry from the University of Mysore.
