Barbara Dawson

Barbara Dawson is an accomplished pharmaceutical executive with extensive experience in pharmacovigilance. Currently serving as the VP Head of PV Operations at GSK since January 2019, Barbara has held significant roles including Global Head of Pharmacovigilance at TESARO UK LIMITED, and Pharmacovigilance Consultant at Dawson & Co Consulting. Previous experience includes Vice President - EU QPPV at The Medicines Company, Vice President - Global Head of Pharmacovigilance at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, and Executive Director of Pharmacovigilance for key regions at PPD. With a Bachelor of Science Pharmacy (Hons) from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Barbara has played a pivotal role in establishing and enhancing pharmacovigilance systems globally, ensuring compliance with regulations and supporting the development of industry standards.
