Bhushan Akshikar

Bhushan Akshikar is an experienced executive in the pharmaceutical industry with a career spanning over two decades. Currently, Bhushan serves as Managing Director and Commercial Head & EVP for Established Pharma at GSK, leading a team of over 3,500 associates and generating £275 million in topline revenues since October 2011. Prior to GSK, Bhushan held several key leadership positions at Johnson & Johnson from May 1996 to September 2011, including Area Director for Vaccines in the Middle East, Turkey, Africa, and Russia CIS, as well as Vice President and General Manager of Sales & Marketing for Janssen Cilag Pharmaceuticals. Educational qualifications include a PGDM in Marketing from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
