Jesse Goodman

Jesse Goodman is the current Independent Non-Executive Director at GSK. Jesse has also worked as the Sr Manager, Strategy and Planning at Uber from September 2016 to September 2018, and as the Director, Strategy and Business Operations at Symantec from September 2013 to September 2016.

At Uber, Goodman was responsible for making customer safety a top priority and commitment company-wide. Jesse developed and measured the success of the global IT strategy for CIO, including the vision, strategy, execution and metrics to align practical solutions with business goals across a diverse organization.

At Symantec, Goodman headed the Global Security Strategy and Operations function, managing 20+ people and overseeing end-to-end program execution with multiple stakeholders, including acquisitions and divestitures, source code consolidation and security monitoring. Jesse also spearheaded Symantec's sponsorship of the "YearUp" program - a 501c3 organization which provides Silicon Valley corporate employment opportunities in cybersecurity to urban young adults.

Jesse Goodman has a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) from McGill University in Information Systems & Entrepreneurship. Jesse also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Victoria. Additionally, they have a Professional Development Certificate - Strategy, Leadership and Project Management from Stanford University. Jesse is also certified by Stanford University as a Stanford Certified Project Manager and by HIMSS as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS).
