Laura Bales

Laura Bales is an experienced public health professional, currently serving as the Coordinator for Public Health and the Coordinator for Pandemic Response & Recovery at Glen Eira City Council since March 2016. Previous roles include Environmental Health Officer and Team Leader for the Public Health & Emergency Response during their tenure with the Glen Eira City Council Pandemic Response Team. Laura's career began as a Student Environmental Health Officer at the Department of Health & Human Services in Victoria, where involvement in the Legionella Team provided valuable experience from February 2014 to March 2016. Additionally, Laura gained practical experience at Wyndham City Council while completing studies at Swinburne University of Technology, where education was pursued from 2011 to 2015.
