Liz Hewitt

Liz is a UK Chartered Accountant with a degree in Economics. She qualified with Arthur Andersen before starting her career in private equity of over 20 years. Liz worked for Gartmore, CVC and 3i Group. In her later career at 3i Liz was seconded to the UK government and worked for BEIS and HM Treasury. Liz then worked for Smith & Nephew as Director of Corporate Affairs, having performed a similar role at 3i, before starting her non-executive career. As a non-executive director Liz has been on the boards of Novo Nordisk, Savills, Melrose Industries, National Grid and the Commission of the House of Lords.
