Serena Ko is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in trade and defense policy, currently serving as a Trade Commissioner for Global Affairs Canada, focusing on the defence, aerospace, and cybersecurity sectors. Prior roles include Senior Policy Advisor for Defence Trade Policy at the Embassy of Canada to the U.S., where advice was provided on international procurement regulations and market access. Serena has also chaired initiatives aimed at promoting anti-racism within the trade promotion branch, demonstrating leadership and commitment to equity.
