Dr Supreet Kaur

Dr. Supreet Kaur is an accomplished professional in the field of nutrition and public health, currently serving as the Head of Policy, Programs, and External Relations at the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) since January 2021. Prior to this role, Dr. Kaur worked as a Senior Policy Adviser at NITI Aayog from July 2018 to January 2021 and held the position of Technical Lead for Nutrition at the Population Council from February 2015 to July 2018, where Dr. Kaur led the nutritional component of India's first-ever Comprehensive National Nutrition Survey (CNNS). Dr. Kaur's earlier experience includes serving as a Principal Investigator at the Public Health Foundation of India from 2012 to 2015 and as a Senior Programme Manager with Pathfinder International in 2011. Dr. Kaur's academic foundation includes a PhD in Nutrition Sciences obtained from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences between 2003 and 2010.
