Angela Swoveland, GTP, is a seasoned professional in the business travel sector with extensive experience in sales and management roles. Currently serving as Manager of Volunteer Relations for the GBTA Sustainability Committee, GBTA Global Risk Committee, and GBTA Global Business Travel Association since April 2023, Angela has a strong background in managing corporate negotiated rates and consortia rates, previously holding the position of Area Director of Business Transient Sales at Southern Management Companies. Angela's career includes significant roles at Live! Casino & Hotel, LTD Hospitality Group, Sheraton Oklahoma City Hotel, and Crescent Hotels & Resorts, among others. Angela holds an Associate's degree in Travel and Tourism Management from Johnson & Wales University and a BBA in Legal Studies from Strayer University.
