Bill Lane

Bill Lane is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in international trade and government affairs. Currently serving as a Board Member for the Washington International Trade Association and Global Communities, as well as the President Emeritus of the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition, Bill Lane plays a pivotal role in advocating for a strong international affairs budget and fostering collaboration among various organizations. Previously, as Senior Director of Global Government and Corporate Affairs at Caterpillar Inc., Bill Lane led a global team focusing on international advocacy for trade liberalization and economic growth. Additionally, Bill Lane contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at George Washington University, where a graduate course on business advocacy was designed and taught. Bill Lane holds a Master of Administration in Business and a Bachelor of Science from Penn State University, along with academic experience at the University of Cologne.
