Mrs. Arantza Estefanía Larrañaga is a lawyer and her professional practice has focused on the procedural field and daily advice, both in civil and criminal matters (in particular, in matters of compliance). She has developed her professional career at Uría Menéndez until January 2019, highlighting her position as managing partner of the Bilbao office for much of her career. Likewise, at an organizational level, she was part of the Board of Directors, the Professional Practice Management Committee and the Criminal Risk Prevention Committee and also held the position of Director of the Procedural, Public, Arbitration and Criminal Law Practice Area of the company. In addition to her professional career, She has been an adjunct professor in the Department of Civil Law at the University of Deusto and has been a member of the group of experts of the Economic and Social Council of the Basque Country since May 2019, a consultative body of the Basque Government and Parliament, and has also been president of its Economic Commission since December 2019. At the corporate level, the work carried out as secretary of the board of directors of different entities stands out (currently being secretary of the Bilbao Exhibition Centre, SA) and her membership of the Board of Directors of Repsol, SA, as an independent director, forming part of its Appointments Committee and its Sustainability Committee, as a member. She is also part of the Board of Directors of CIE Automotive SA.
