April Golden is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in international education and donor relations. Currently serving as a Senior Partnerships Specialist at the Global Partnership for Education since August 2011, April has held various roles, including Donor Relations Specialist for Europe and Donor Relations Officer for the Asia-Pacific region. Prior experience includes working as a Research Consultant at The Brookings Institution and a Research Assistant at both the World Economic Forum and the University of Maryland, where field research was conducted to evaluate a reading intervention. April began teaching as a High School Reading Teacher at Escambia County Schools from August 2006 to July 2009. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in International Education from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Southern Methodist University.
