Eliane Proenca Matti

Eliane Proenca Matti is currently serving as the Coordinator for Switzerland at the Global Partnership for Education since August 2023, focusing on the engagement with Education in Emergencies actors in Geneva and Swiss philanthropy. Prior experience includes roles as Program Manager in the Peace & Human Rights Division at the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs FDFA from July 2021 to August 2023, and as an International Consultant and Program Officer at UNAIDS from November 2020 to July 2023. Eliane has held consultancy roles at PwC Switzerland and OECD, specializing in international development and policy research related to conflict and fragility. Educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Development Studies from the Geneva Graduate Institute, a Master in Public Policy from Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Geneva, and a Teacher Education Degree focused on Human Rights Education from the University of Lucerne.
