Matt Friend

Matt Friend currently serves as Vice President of Operational Excellence for B2B Solutions at Global Payments Inc. since March 2023. Prior to this role, Matt held several key leadership positions at MineralTree, Inc., including Vice President of Product and Program Management and Senior Director of Strategic Programs. Matt's extensive experience also includes a tenure at SmashFly Technologies as Chief of Staff and Principal Program Manager, as well as a significant period at MathWorks managing various program management teams. Earlier in the career, Matt worked at BrassRing and CDM, focusing on software project management and hazardous waste site assessment, respectively. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Tufts University.
