Heba Rabie

Heba Rabie is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environmental management and business development across the Middle East and North Africa. Currently serving as the Director for the Middle East and North Africa at the Global Wind Energy Council since February 2024, Heba previously worked as a Business Development Manager and Project Manager for Lekela Power in Egypt from September 2018 to March 2024. Prior experience includes freelance environmental consultancy, managing environmental public health initiatives at Public Health England, and holding various roles at The Gold Standard Foundation, where projects focused on carbon reduction and sustainable development were advanced. With a strong educational background, including an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The American University in Cairo, Heba brings a robust blend of technical and managerial expertise to the field.
